
A dinner meeting is held in December to reflect on past accomplishments and discuss the Chamber’s priorities for the upcoming year. Awards are given for the Citizen of the Year and Volunteer of the Year.

The Chamber produces an Indian Lake brochure and map, as well as cottage and restaurant brochures for residents and tourists. There are also many maps and brochures from Chamber businesses and the Logan County Convention and Tourism Bureau.

Hosted by various members of the Chamber, this event provides an excellent networking opportunity for our members. Typically held on a weekday before or after normal business hours, it may include a tour of the host facility and a short discussion on topics of local interest.

The Chamber office gives business referrals to people that either call, stop by the office, or visit the website.

This networking opportunity is held the second Thursday of each month at 8 am at Aunt Millie's Restaurant.

The Indian Lake Area Chamber of Commerce operates a Tourist Information Center at Fisher's Flea Market. There are racks with literature and member brochures available. Chamber members are welcome to add company brochures to the display area.

Through the Chamber’s NOACC affiliation with Heartland Payment Systems, members can receive reliable, full service credit card processing at a very competitive rate.

The Indian Lake Area Chamber of Commerce hosts many events throughout the year. The Fireworks Spectacular brings thousands of visitors to the area during the 4th of July celebration. Members learn first hand what is happening at the lake. Members can receive complimentary information to pass along to clients and customers. Events in the summer occur every two to three weeks, which boosts tourism and the Indian Lake economy. Events are advertised in newspapers, T.V., and radio.

The Chamber hosts ribbon cuttings for new members. The “Grand Openings” are publicized in the Chamber monthly newsletter and featured in the Bellefontaine Examiner.

Through its alliance with the North Ohio Area Chambers of Commerce (NOACC), the Indian Lake Area Chamber of Commerce offers members Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield health care coverage at a cost savings usually reserved for large companies.  The Chamber maintains a directory of all members. This valuable tool is used as a guide for Chamber staff and other businesses when giving references. It is free upon request by any member.
 The Soundings, keeps members up-to-date on community activities, Chamber benefits, and issues that impact the Indian Lake area. Members are welcomed to submit information about their business, awards, expansions, events, and news.

Volunteers from the Chamber attend annual Travel Expos and Boats show in Ohio to promote Indian Lake and area businesses.

20,000 Visitor's Guides are distributed to residents and tourists with Chamber businesses listed by category. Printed by the Lima News, Chamber businesses can submit advertisements for a fee.

Chamber members network and have great fun by helping out at the Maple Syrup Festival, Beach Spectacular, Party at the Beach, Putt Around the Lake, and Ring of Fire. It’s a great opportunity to meet people and promote the lake.

More and more people are planning vacation and business trips through the internet. All members are listed in the business directory section of our site and hyper-linked free. Banner advertising is available for a small fee.

Each year welcome packets are given to visitors and groups who call, stop by the office, or visit the Chamber’s website. To promote their business, members can put a coupon or promotional item in them at no cost.
